David Buckingham joined Ecrebo as CEO in March 2017 where he oversees the company’s global presence, international growth strategy and technology offering. With over 25 years’ experience within the retail and CPG insights and analytics space, David has held senior positions at leading retail insights and analytics providers including Kantar Retail, IRI, Loyalty Management Group and i2c. Prior to joining Ecrebo, David was President of Aimia Shopping Insights in New York, where he headed up its North America division.
DR HASSAN HAJJI

Chief Product Officer & Co-Founder
Hassan brings a proven track record of guiding highly innovative product teams to execute on Ecrebo’s vision of turning the point of sale into a marketing medium. He has extensive experience in strategic product management and immense practical knowledge of building highly scalable software, with deep expertise in loyalty marketing, retail point of sale (POS), and data analytics. As Co-Founder of Ecrebo, he has over 15 patents to his name. Hassan previously held multiple roles at IBM Japan, during which time he was awarded the New Frontiers in Software Engineering Award by the Japanese Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry (METI). Hassan holds a PhD in computer science from Japan, and MBA from INSEAD.
Chief Customer Officer & Co-Founder
A master of delivering the highest levels of customer service, David is responsible for driving customer focus into all aspects of Ecrebo’s business to ensure retention, satisfaction and loyalty. David has a track record of establishing new operations, leading teams and executing major projects from inception to delivery. As Ecrebo Co-Founder, David also has significant experience with managing processes and platforms. Prior to founding Ecrebo, David had more than 10 years’ experience in management and finance for leading fund management companies including De Putron and Amiri Capital.
VP, Sales & Marketing
Andy is a highly experienced commercial and general manager with over 25 years’ experience in the IT Software industry, and has spent much of his career promoting the latest technologies to global retailers. He has held a number of senior Sales and Marketing positions for several ‘blue chip’ technology companies as well as smaller, niche software organisations. Andy has previously worked as VP Sales for Artificial Solutions, and Director of Sales for companies including Wesupply, ServiceSource and Infor. Andy brings a wealth of enterprise technology and industry experience to Ecrebo’s commercial operation.
President, Ecrebo North America
Mike Grimes joined Ecrebo in July 2017 and brings more than 25 years’ experience in growth-stage organisations focused on retail solutions, with valuable prior experience launching the North American office for a European solution provider. As U.S. president, Mike is responsible for accelerating Ecrebo’s operations in North America in order to grow and support its customer base in the U.S. as well as nurture the company’s partner network. Prior to joining Ecrebo, Mike served as chief revenue officer for Mobee, SVP for Catalina, and CEO of Modiv Media.
Hannah joined Ecrebo in July 2017 and brings proven experience in driving business performance and robust financial management for multinational companies in Europe and the Middle East. In her role as CFO, Hannah is responsible for all financial matters for Ecrebo and as part of the senior leadership team, will help set and implement the strategic direction of the company. Hannah previously served as finance director for the data and analytics business at Aimia, as well as tenures with GE Capital in Dubai, and Barclays in London.
