Ecrebo, the point of sale marketing specialist, has today announced that it has been shortlisted for two awards at the inaugural Tech. Awards powered by Retail Week. Rewarding retailers, start-ups and tech innovators alike, this is the only retail awards to put tech at the forefront and the ceremony will take place in London in September.
Tech. Awards powered by Retail Week are brand new for 2017 and celebrate the best and greatest innovations in retail technology. Technology underpins all areas of retail, is a driving force of most retail strategy and is no longer a silo function. It is a competitive advantage and retailers are relying on their partners and forward-thinking start-ups to help them stand out in a crowded market place.
Ecrebo, whose customers include leading retailers M&S and Waitrose, has been shortlisted for both the Tech Supplier of the Year award and the Digital Transformation Pioneer award, in conjunction with customer PANDORA. In 2016, PANDORA deployed Ecrebo’s digital receipts solution incorporating a live customer feedback tool, giving them the opportunity to request feedback from their customers on their in-store experience, enabling them to continually improve our offering.
David Buckingham, Ecrebo CEO said, “We’re thrilled to have made it onto the shortlist for not one but two of these prestigious awards. This kind of industry recognition means a lot to a business like ours. We’ve heard that the Awards ceremony is set to be quite different to any we’ve attended before, so we’re all really looking forward to it.”
In February 2017, Ecrebo announced a £12 million investment from Sir Keith Mills, founder of Air Miles, and Joseph Schull, the former Head of Europe for international private equity firm Warburg Pincus, which will support product and technology development.
