2017 has been a great year for Ecrebo so far, from signing long-term customer contracts with major retailers like Waitrose to winning awards thanks to a leading capability set and impressive results, such as the Growth Business of the Year at the inaugural National Technology Awards and an appearance on the FT1000 annual list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies.

To continue that streak of success, we’re proud to say that we’ve been shortlisted for two prestigious Retail Week Tech. Awards - Tech Supplier of the Year award and the Digital Transformation Pioneer award, in conjunction with our customer, PANDORA UK.

This is more validation of what we’ve known all along - not only does Ecrebo transform a retailer’s point of sale from a piece of in-store hardware into a powerful marketing platform, but personalisation is a requirement for any retailer wanting to improve customer loyalty and engagement. It is possible, and incredibly powerful, to leverage unique messages and offers at the point of sale to create unique and motivating shopper experiences for all.

Our dynamic and agile solution allows retailers to launch in-store marketing campaigns based on personalised customer data, in just a matter of minutes. As ecommerce continues to challenge traditional retail models, Ecrebo gives retailers the ability to replicate the one-on-one experience of years gone by, but on the mass scale the internet enables, driven by personalised analytics. This conglomeration of physical touchpoints, digital marketing and personalised experiences is the key to success for modern in-store retail.

Take the example of PANDORA UK, a leading jewellery brand. PANDORA UK has deployed digital receipts across its store estate to capture customer data at the point of sale for greater visibility over customers’ in-store purchases and behaviour, enabling them to create more targeted marketing communications. PANDORA UK customers receive digital receipts following their transactions in-store which include targeted marketing messages and a request for customer feedback. This kind of action usually happens seamlessly online, but is a revelation for bricks and mortar retailers, as store and corporate managers have better data with which to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.

Our track record of helping companies like PANDORA UK create greater engagement and customer loyalty gives us a sense of excitement and optimism for any retailer operating physical locations.

If you’re as excited and optimistic as we are for the future of retail and personalised marketing, we hope you can take a moment to register your vote for Ecrebo to take home the Retail Tech Supplier of the Year award. Thanks!
