Ecrebo is honoured to be featured as one of this year’s 50 Thames Valley Game Changers by ConnectTVT, which recognises businesses who deliver inspiration as innovators and collaborators for the Thames Valley. I am incredibly proud of our team for this achievement and the amplified voice this brings to our business as leaders in regional industry.

ConnectTVT was launched in 2014 by Louize Clarke with the vision to build a platform to shine a light on innovative, digital and tech companies. The 50 Game Changers was Clarke’s way of “acknowledging some of the unsung heroes hidden away, fighting their fight and also to demonstrate that the Thames Valley is, in fact, full of inspiring start-up, and fast growth scale-up businesses with home-grown innovation.”

This year, the launch event was held on the rooftop terrace of Thames Tower, one of Reading’s newly refurbished office blocks. What a great opportunity to network with other start-ups and fast-growing businesses and share our experiences with other industries. It’s a really exciting time to be working in the region, full of inspiring companies that are focused on home-grown innovation, and we are delighted to be a part of it.

Our company has grown rapidly over the past few years. Despite the hugely competitive retail tech space, Ecrebo has secured £12 million in investment from a partnership that includes Air Miles and Nectar founder, Sir Keith Mills. We’ve signed multi-year agreements with tier-1 retailers and we’ve got more exciting customer announcements in the pipeline. Through all of that, we have built up a hugely talented team and will continue to expand quickly. This success and the power of both our team and our solution has led to promising international growth as well, as we set our eyes on the significant international potential, especially in the US. Ecrebo’s commitment to progress and innovation means there’s more good news yet to come from us.

With a large and growing team of talented engineers who boast a multitude of PhDs and patents between them, we’re developing technologies that will revolutionise retail. While I expect Ecrebo to grow rapidly, I know that we’ll maintain the passion and commitment that has made the business the success it is today.
