Europe’s Biggest Retail Tech Event — And We Were There
The Retail Technology Show 2025 did not disappoint. Over 15,000 senior retail professionals descended on its new home at ExCeL London on 2nd and 3rd April — making it the biggest edition of the show to date. With 438 exhibitors, a packed conference program featuring 125-plus speakers, and a carnival atmosphere that made good on every promise, it set a new standard for industry gatherings in Europe.
Ecrebo was at Stand Q72, showcasing our latest real-time POS engagement platform to retailers, commercial directors, and technology leaders from across the UK and Europe. It was two of the most energising days we have had on a show floor in years.

What We Showcased
Our demos centered on what Ecrebo does best: turning every checkout interaction into a personalized marketing moment. Visitors to Stand Q72 saw live demonstrations of our Coupon at Till, Digital Receipt, and Promo Engine capabilities — and the response was emphatic.
For many of the retail leaders who stopped by, the penny dropped quickly. They were sitting on a high-value marketing channel — the checkout — and not using it anywhere near its full potential. Our platform changes that, integrating seamlessly with existing POS infrastructure to deliver real-time, personalized engagement to 100% of shoppers, whether they are loyalty members or completely anonymous.
The Themes That Defined RTS 2025
The conference programs at RTS 2025 was dominated by a handful of big themes, and they mapped almost exactly onto the conversations we were having on our stand. AI-powered personalization was everywhere — but what struck us was the shift in retailer sentiment from curiosity to urgency. Leaders from Sainsbury’s, Holland and Barrett, and Ann Summers all spoke about the need to make technology work commercially right now, not as a future ambition.
Customer loyalty, visit frequency, and basket size were recurring topics on the main stages — precisely the commercial outcomes that Ecrebo’s platform is designed to drive. The conversation around retail media was also gathering momentum, with more retailers recognizing the value of their customer reach as an advertising asset. These are not peripheral discussions. They are the central commercial questions facing every retailer operating today.
The Conversations That Stuck With Us
The most consistent theme in our conversations at RTS 2025 was the gap between what retailers know about their customers and what they are doing with that knowledge at the point of purchase. Many of the brands we spoke to had sophisticated CRM programs and strong loyalty data — but almost none of it was being activated in real time at checkout.
That is exactly the gap Ecrebo fills. Our platform takes the data retailers already have and uses it to deliver relevant, personalized communications at the moment that matters most — while the customer is standing at the till, card in hand, completely open to influence.
See You at RTS 2026
Given the response at this year’s show, we will be back — bigger — at the Retail Technology Show 2026. The event returns to ExCeL London on 22nd and 23rd April 2026, and we will be at Stand Z40. If you want to understand what real-time engagement can do for your retail business, that is where you will find us.
